Hello!!! Sorry about the really long delay, we didnt have the internet for a while!!But we're back in action. Railay is located just beside krabi, we heard it was a nice relaxed town so decided to see for ourselves! It started on the 17th of November we got the boat to railay from phi phi island.

The boat was terrible as we were traveling through a storm!! ive never seen rain like it and just our luck we were in the middle of the sea (I didnt realise at the time it wasnt the worse boat trip id experience!). So when we arrived we went out to the deck to get our rucksacks which they all bundle on top of eachother, then we moved to a small wooden (long tail) boat. This was all in the lashing rain so we were soaked! Then that boat brings us in to the beach, well almost, we had to get out of the boat and walk in through water up to our thighs and lashing rain with our rucksacks and all. All you could do was laugh at the situation we were in!So after walkin around the island up and down hills for about 20minutes looking for our hotel, it wasnt funny anymore, we were like drowned rats!!So we finally arrived at the hotel, our friends from Ireland (Bridin and conor) were waiting for us at the beach with thier raincoats but we were pointed in the wrong direction so we missed them!! At the hotel there was a mix up with our booking and they were booked out, so we got upgraded cause we had already paid the depoist!!

After a nice long shower, we went for dinner with bridin and conor and relaxed. Railay is very relaxed, not much happenin!! We went to a reggae bar, drank cocktails (2euro each) played pool, jenga, connect 4 and cards! The next day we did NOTHING apart from chill at the pool and found an amzing beach and wild monkeys in the tree's. That nigt consisted of a yummy dinner, cards, charades and beer on our balcony with bridin and conor, it was a great laugh!!!

So thats Railay, nothing exciting but really enjoyed the relax atmosphere and great company!!! After two nights we were ready to get moving to koh samui!!!
