This would be Kyle eating his pumpkin pie with chopsticks.
I woke up at about 11:30 and got ready because I was supposed to meet Kyle and go to town to get stuff for today's festivities. I got online, and he said that maybe we wouldn't go because we could find everything here. Then he decided maybe we wouldn't try to make our sweet potato casserole. I agreed, so we went and got some lunch.

We went to the Muslim noodle place. He got noodles; I got rice. We ran into everyone today, and they all wanted to tell us "Happy Thanksgiving". We went and got something to drink, and then went back to our apartments to eat.

I ate and talked on Skype a little. I decided to take a nap. I've been pretty lazy lately.. I went to sleep about 1:30, and I probably woke up about 3:30. I got several text messages in that time though. Most of them were forwards wishing me a happy Thanksgiving. And most of them didn't have names, so I'm not sure who sent them.

I got up and checked up on my emails and stuff, and then Jamey came over and got stools for tonight. Kyle called about 5:30 and asked what time we needed to leave. We decided that we would leave a little early and go get drinks.

We ran into Jession on the way, so she walked with us to the store. We bought Pepsi, orange juice, and sour milk. When we left, we ran into some more girls, so we all walked up to Jamey and Priscilla's together.

Dinner wasn't ready when we got there, so Kyle offered to take the cornbread to his place and cook it to speed things along.

I asked Priscilla if she needed me to do anything. She said I could finish the rolls. I mixed up everything only to find out that the bowl was too small.. so we had to mix part in the bowl and part on the counter. My phone rang in the midst of all this. I had dough all over my hands, so Julie reached in my pocket. I knew it was Kyle, so she answered. She put the phone up to my ear. He wasn't sure if it was done, so he was asking me how to check. I told him to stick something in the middle, and if it

came out clean it was done. He also told me it rose in the middle like a mountain. I also had like 5 girls crowded around me watching me. It's a small kitchen.. it was crazy crowded.

We let the dough rest a little and warmed up some stuff that had been done for a while. Kyle came back with the cornbread. It was a mountain. We put it in the oven a little longer because it wasn't quite done in the middle. I started putting the rolls in cupcake paper, and Kyle helped. We cooked them 12 at a time.

Everyone started eating after we put the rolls in. They all just stood around the table with their chopsticks and plates. We had chicken, gravy, stuffing, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, cookies, cheesecake.. I'm sure there was something else that I'm forgetting. It was a feast.

After everyone ate, some of the girls played Guitar Hero with Jamey. Priscilla and I talked, and about 5 girls crowded around Kyle. It was a good evening.. we had lots of fun, and before we knew it, it was 9:00 and everyone started to leave.

The last of them left about 9:45, and that's when the foreigners sat down and just started talking. We laughed and talked about how fun it was and how dirty the apartment was. I finally got up and started trying to clean up. We got all the food put away, and that's really about all. There were still crumbs on the table and in the floor when Kyle and I left. Priscilla said she was going to leave it til tomorrow. She was so tired.

There was no parade or football or turkey, but all the students enjoyed themselves, and they seemed to really like the food. It was definitely a good Thanksgiving. We had fun, and we all ate a lot. Priscilla and Jamey decided Christmas was at my house.. we'll see.
