Hi,

The latest update is that we got our passports back from the home office after I sent a letter of complaint over our treatment. After an incredibly stressful month, in which we were refused a visa, then had our passports lost twice, I now have another 5 year visa. To celebrate, I surprised Jo with a trip to Paris, see photos. We stayed in a 4 star hotel beside the Eiffel Tower, see photo from our window. Had a nice dinner at the Buddha Bar restaurant and saw the sights. Saw plenty of places we would like to live!!

I also have a new job as the Health Improvement Lead for smoking Cessation. My job is to get 1300 people to quit smoking and I manage a small team of advisors. Most of my work is involved with developing pilot programmes and redeveloping the service for next year to make sure that they reach their targets.

Jo is still working hard as well as teaching full time she is also studying so that she can gain teacher registration here in the UK.

The cold weather has really begun here and temperatures in the morning are pretty low with midday temps around 11-13C. Although we were lucky with the last BBQ of the season and had a warm evening, where a few friend s came over and we had a little fire outside to keep warm.

Now it’s the big push till Christmas where Jo's parents are coming over for a few days to experience London.

I hope that every one is well and congratulations to Rafal's sister who had a baby boy. As always, hope to hear from you and get an update on what you’re up to.

Wreszci oddali nam paszporty wiec pojechalismy do Paryza sie pobujac. Bylo znacznie zimnej niz tutaj ale znacznie przyjemnie.
Steve pracuje nad programem rzucenia palenia i musi przekonac 1300 ludzi do niepalenia.
Ja ciagle sie mecze w szkole i pracuje nad moja rejestracja..co oznacza dwa razy wiecej roboty..oczywiscie

Zima chyba sie zbliza wielkimi krokami i w L juz od konca pazdziernika trabia o swietach. W grudniu bedzimey miec tych swiat powyzej uszu!!
