Hell,
4 months have been and gone, extremely quick. We have been very busy since Iceland. Weve been to Copenhagen and stayed with Jo's family in the Embassy district. They cater for bike riders very well there and it is a very beautiful city. We have also been to the Ballet, Giselle. Had holidays in Poland. Where I did some plumbing on the country house and cut down a few trees. Weve also seen Madonna ( London 16,000 people) and U2 in Katowice ( 85,000 people) which was awesome. Jo has had her school holidays and my Dad and his wife have come over from Australia for a working holiday ( 1 month). I am now battling with the Home Office to get my visa extended, have to find a new job as my current contract is at an end, am are trying to lose a few kilos that I gained in Poland!! by going to the gym. Jo's own battle with the Teachers council goes on, she can register OK in New Zealand but having difficulty with the red tape here in the UK.

Once again the UK summer , failed to deliver and the forecasters couldn't forecast their way out of a paper bag. Apart from the great spring, plenty of rain and average temperatures. There is now a feeling of Autumn in the air and the trees are starting to turn red.

On the plus side , we have had plenty of BBQs and the back yard we have is just big enough to be pleasant on a Sunday afternoon. I have also found a nice little pub close by to watch the rugby. Although the only really happy people sitting besides me have been the Saffas,.......so far !!

Hope you enjoy the picks. Dont forget to email. I know this is an old school notion now that most people have face book.

hi there
Good to hear that you are all okay - hope you get to work things out re work permits, etc. Pleased to see you keeping up the good Aussie tradition of the bbq!!!We are all well here - Fiona and I have started 2 weeks of school holidays so that is great. I am trying to get the house organised as friends from New Zealand are arriving tonight - I will be playing tour guide for a week. The girls (and their boys) are coming over for dinner on Tuesday to meet my friends. I was looking at some photos the other day of when you were here - can't believe that it is over 3 years ago. Take care and love to you both, "Aunty" Vicki

great to hear from you
Hope you can extend your visa--yes, red tape works the other way around as well--watch the weight easy to put on hard to remove. The pair of you are certainly having a good look around so you should have no regrets. Enjoyed the pics over rthe last 12 months or so--feels like being there. Still with the firm - moral at the same level - red tape by the mile-- take care Bill
