Baccus Brunch
Here's an authenic Dixie Land jazz band. Our big event is Sunday in New Orleans. We'll have to leave Baton Rouge after an early breakfast to get to the Hotel in New Orleans by about 9:30. We'll drop our bags off at the Hotel and walk down to the Hilton Riverside for the Bacchus Brunch. I'm told this is a great affair with live music and lots of great food and fun. At some point we'll have to break away to go find our bleacher seats on St. Charles street so that we can watch as much of the Okemos, Thoth and MidCity parades as we can fit in. These parades will pass our seats between about 12:30 and 1:30. We'll have to decide between staying longer at the brunch and seeing all of the parades. The brunch doesn't end until 2:00PM.
