The Time Has Come...

Remember the old anti-drug commericals: "This is your brain...this is your brain on drugs"? We've revised that statement to: "This is your life...this is your life in a box!" Because this is indeed is our life for the next 15 months or so...two backpacks, three small boxes of clothes, and Hungry.

Thank you so much to all our dear friends and family who have supported us, visited with us, and made these last few weeks in Florida a wonderful send-off!! You will all be missed very much.

So, without any further ado, we go to ship our boxes and finish the last of the last-minute errands. Tomorrow morning at 7:15 we depart from Palm Beach airport!!! After a layover in Newark, we fly almost 14 hours to Beijing and will arrive about 2am Thursday morning Eastern time (but it will be 2PM Thursday afternoon in Beijing!) Depending on the state of our jet-lag, we'll post our first blog entry sometime Thursday night or Friday.

About the gray backpack being mine and so large. Let's not forget that Amy is stuffing some of her stuff in it, and it has clothes in it that I'll be wearing to the airport. I guarantee it will be 30% smaller tomorrow morning at take-off, as one of the three shirts and pants I have in there will be worn. I'm also carrying "the bible" - our Southeast Asia lonely planet guide that has every country in it. Easily over 500pages, because she can't fit one more thing in her bag... :P SO NYEH! ^_^ -Jeremy
