well, i think we will be staying here for a month now. the tiger reserve got back to us last night, so we definatley have a place there at the beginning of next year. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! im hoping it'll rain todaay so that i dont have to do my watering job (lazy me). im feeling a bit ill again, but nothing that wont go away soon. one guy here may have malaria, he went to the doctors last night and thats what they think he has :S o dear.
I went out on the moped with laura yesterday and it was fine, we didnt fall over and i felt safe enough to ride with no hands. we went to the beach again then bought some nice clothes and ice cream 😊
the cafe we were eating in with some of the other volunteers was nice, but just before our food arrived a mouse fell from the ceiling onto our table. it sat there completly still for a couple of minutes until i went to grab its tail, then it crawled down my legs and scurried off. brilliant! good job it missed the fans otherwise it could have been a very
different tale.
so we have about 1 and a half more weeks at this place then we'll be on to bangalore, then mysore then probably goa. yes yes, i know its touristy, but it would be nice to actually be able to sit on the beach without having to cover up my knees. im going to take more photos and upload them, but this laptop is pretty crazy, so im still not sure how to do it. mum; there are no photos of me so i cant prove that im still alive, but i assure you that i am. i look the same except my hair is messier and blonder and i dont look like an albino anymore. o and i have flip flop tan lines.
a HUGE spider crawled out of my rucksack the other day when i was looking for clean clothes, luckily the dog arrived and ate it. there are some pretty cool looking lizards but they are too quick to take photos of. we watched the age of stupid on friday night, over a hundred people from auroville came to watch it so the main hut was pretty crowded and very very hot. a
furry catapillor crawled all the way down one of my arms to i look like i have a disease. im enjoying comparing slang words with the americans, and learning new words from the japanese girls and the italians. the word for hose and pool are the same in japanese...interesting.
laura has gone back to bed...now im a bit at loss what to do. most people are asleep..i cant ride a moped...so im stuck in this hammock trying to remember anything vaguely interesting that i've done since i last updated this.
oh i went on the back of a MOTORBIKE on thursday. it was incredible, it was at night and all the stars were out. a big group of us went for pizza and pasta at georgios, where he sells things like ''geogio's surprise pizza'' and ''georgio's crazy cake (1) and (2)''.
STILL havent managed to get the skype camera to work...i will keep on trying though. i may even go to a call center and phone people...apparenty you can get an 60 minutes of call time for 20 ruppies. bare in miind that 80 ruppies is a pound.
