We had a busy Saturday planned. Hiking the Snowy Range (which took about 3 hours including our relaxing at the top and photo taking), followed by some alcohol for self medication purposes, then the drive into Saratoga to clean up and eat some pizza.

Me, Pete, and Ron in the midst of showing a couple of bottles, a plastic gallon jug, and an empty paper coffee cup who was boss. Sadly, the bottles, jug, nor coffee cup made it. Target practice was before the big hike.

I believe the hike starts at around 10,800', and the highest point in the Snowy Range is just over 12,000'.

To the right you can see the Wyoming highway 131 that goes from Laramie, over the Snowy Range pass, to Ryan Park and then later Saratoga.

It was a great weather day for a hike. Lance is on the left, and Pete is further up the trail on the right.

Here comes Ron and B

B seemed to be having a great time checking up on everybody. If us humans got in a 4 mile hike, she got in at least an 8 mile hike.

I wonder if Ansel Adams knew of this area?

B seems to be saying, "Really, can we get up to the summit at some point today?". Good photo opportunity there where Lance is standing though.

That B was off to the races. Had to call her back.

My guess is that those mountains in the distance are in Colorado, probably just North of Steamboat.
