We had a busy Saturday planned. Hiking the Snowy Range (which took about 3 hours including our relaxing at the top and photo taking), followed by some alcohol for self medication purposes, then the drive into Saratoga to clean up and eat some pizza.... Read Full Entry

We went off trail to get to the rock edge. Really cool views.

Probably some interesting rock fall around here in the springtime when the freeze/thaw cycles get going.

That light colored area at the horizon is a valley through which runs highway 287 between Fort Collins and Laramie.

With all of the freeze/thaw cycles of the spring time, while you could pack a snowball with the snow, it was corn snow and pretty much way packed down.
