Here are a few photos taken in the middle of the first night during the storm. It's all from inside the apartment, nothing too great, but just gives a taste of the experience. Also 3 videos from the afternoon that add up to less than a minute - just some rain, a little tree flapping, and a few howls.

Typhoon Palm Trees!
OMG! I never knew Taiwan had palm trees! I never saw palm trees in a typhoon....WOW! Your room looks nice. Are you holding onto my hello kitty black and white polka dot purse for me, the souvenir that I asked for? Hope you do not see any more typhoons!!!!!!!Boy, you stay up late....mom
