Colombia I - Bogota!!!

So on Friday 26th June we went into Colombia really being amazed from the friendliness of the people from the very first moment on. First we made a stop in the City of Cali which is said to be the salsa-mekka of Columbia. Indeed it has a sprawling nightlife and people love to dance. And the really can dance, which would have required more salsa-skills from us. However we did our best and had a lot of fun there...

So on Sunday we even got early and went on a 12 hours busride to Bogota - a real highlight. We got a couchsurfing host by Hernan. This really great guy offered us more than just a place to stay over for 4 nights. We had a lot of fun with him and he showed us really cool places. And as a good DJ he knows well about the really cool nightlife spots in the sprawling capital of Colombia. SPECIAL THANKS TO HERNAN!! 😊

And Bogota has more to offer. For expample the nice and colorful colonial old town with nice graffities and painting around the corners. Then again, a lot of culture and museums - a highlight was the Andy Warhol exhibition (of course no fotos as no cameras allowed). The coincidences seemed to like us, as the the "rock al parque" festival was also at the time we where there (no cameras allowed either). Columbians really know great ways how to spend their time.

I was really impressed by the really cool and stylish city of Bogota, that actually has to be expierienced live rather than watching some photos on a blog...

So I had a really great time in this great city in the really great country of Columbia!!

Que bueno que la pasaste muy bien en Colombia....ya sabes que puedes volver cuando quieras...pero cuando vuelvas tienes que estar preparado para aprender a bailar sala jajaja...y terminar de conocer Cali...chévere haberte conocido
