We went from Exmouth straight to Karijini National Park to look at some georges and do some rock climbing!!!
We didnt quite make it there in 1 day so we stayed over 1 night at a river just before you get to Tom Price where we got some more food and beer 😊. This day was a wet 1, just kept raining which was making the dirt turn to mud and it got very sloppy. I couldnt tell if or what was dirt or just my new tan!!!

Once we got to Karijini everywhere was pretty wet and we had to set up in the rain for the first time 😞 But we got there!!!
We stayed at Dale's George which was the most central and only $6.50 a night!!!
The next day we would have walked about 6-7kms all around these rocky cliffs and rock pools (yes even Axel walked ALL the way)
1 even had a rope to swing into the water with and a waterfall right next to it which had warm water running down.

We stayed here for 4 days and on the last day we went about 45-1hr to the other side where another waterhole which was called "Handrail" Here we had to keep our shoes on while walking throught the rocks and water as it was all over the place and easier this way. Then we got to this tight steep alley type of opening so we ventured in and got to a small pool only up to our knees which was perfect for Ax to have a paddle in and then from there you had to walk down this slippery path to where you get to a handrail then a rope.
Me and Ax just waited for Troy in the shallow pool as it was too dangerous for us to go any further, there were alot of people which were supprised that Axel had got this far!!!. He was doing soo well!!! But then again he is a boy and loves to climb rocks!!!

When we left Karijini on Saturday we head (well back-tracked) for Karratha to visit a friend Fiona and her family which i had not seen for about 10 yeard and we are still here camped in there front yard 😊

wow!
Wow! I can't believe Ax got round those rocks, he'll be an expert next time we see him. The hard trails are all worth it in the end by the looks of the scenery.

Envious!!!
Hi Guys I'm soo bloody envious it looks fantastic this place and so warm. We're bloody freezing down here. What a fantastic time Ax must be having.!!! All quiet down here I'm just back from a girls week end in Brisbane which was great fun and it was nice to be in shirt sleeves again. Lots of good pubs in Brisbane and it was great going up down the river on the ferries. We've seen lots of pics of Flippia think she's a bit like Maddie. Take care on those slippery slopes Love Liz x
