Doing it for the Bishop! Plus TV Appearances!

Really quick entry from me here, mostly because I just wanna upload some photos! And also because I'm off fruit picking tomorrow so god knows where I'm gonna be! Yes, the Denby and I are off to do manual labour! Shocking!

Anyways, in the last entry Sarah highlighted that all you do in Melbourne is go out. And i have to agree. Number of cultural activities done, nil, number of nights out, through the roof! The place is rocking though and I love it! Though job oppurtunities are slightly limited so we're off to Echuca (?) to go fruit picking! There's a group of us though so it shall be cool! Anyways, I'll just detail a few things that have happened whilst we've been here! Some are quite funny!

My TV Debut

Thats right! I have been on aussie tv! Bacsically our friend Jo got on a crappy version of Blind date called 'Amor Amore'. She picked a guy but then he vanished and so i was her replacement date and they filmed it all! We turned up to some cheesy 70s club stone cold sober where I was wearing the most hideous top ever, just to look the part mind, and straight off they wanted us to dance to Dancing Queen! Very random! Then they filmed our date! Then when they went to film my talking bit the stupid microphone broke! So the moral of the story is I'm on Aussie TV as a god damn mute! Hope you appreciate the hilarity!

Neighbours Night

Oh my god! Potentially the best night ever and we met Harold Bishop! And max! And janelle! Had a big long convo with Harold, he was loving me! When i met Janelle i was uber drunk and proceeded to tell her that in the show she looks mingin but in real life shes so glamourous. And obviously i said this about ten times. The irony being she is just as trashy in real life, and not fabulous! Ace night though!

Anyways, thats it really! We've had many a night out but don't wanna bore you with all the details! And many an amusing incident, such as my time spent in the 'classy' opp shop 'Also Fabulous', the Ring woman, and the founding of the 'Snub Club' Sarah and I have also discovered Kath and Kim! So the best thing ever! But hope you're all good! And pray the fruit picking isn't too traumatic! Sarah and I went shopping for outfits today, well we do need to look good whilst undergoing tough work now.......

Hello there! Bet you never thought I'd actually read your email let alone visit your travel log - read the last four entries that I'd missed - AND then leave you a message. looks like you're having an AWESOME time and I am very jealous. Have to say from the photos you have been progressively losing weight from what I can see- I'm concerned - I love my stewpot as he was altho you are looking damn foxy!! You've been on tv, that's incredible but actually meeting Neighbour's stars, that is every Durham students dream and well off the ricter scale!
