Gavin has set up the canopy with pull out sections. The stove, fridge and everything else has it's place so we don't have to unload everything each night.
We’ve stored the van in Kununurra for $5 a night and have packed up the canopy for our 3 week camping trip, because we’ll be going over rough dirt roads and our little van wouldn’t survive.

What ever I say about the Bungle Bungles it would not be enough to describe how unreal they are. We both had our first helicopter ride over the black and orange striped domes and immediately wanted to do it again. For 30 minutes we flew over and around, dropping down to get a closer look at the chasms and gorges. There were no doors on the helicopter and the wind was fierce and exhilarating, especially when the helicopter banked and it felt like we could quite easily fall out.

Cathedral Gorge ends in a huge amphitheatre and again we had the place to ourselves initially. We got up early to beat the heat and the crowds and we just made it as other walkers and a bus load of tourists arrived as we were leaving. They normally get 60 cars arrive at the visitors centre but this year they are only getting about 20. Bad for business - but great for us. Everything

It's a tough life. Wish you were here too.
we have been to see we have had the place to ourselves or had a few people arrive later, after we’ve been able to OOH and AAH and make silly noises to hear the echoes.

Echidna Chasm gets narrower and narrower until it turns into a very large “room” and then goes on to even narrower passages where you start to feel a bit apprehensive about how far to go. Around another bend and the end is definitely there as it is blocked by huge rocks that have fallen…still if we could get over them…

Everyone should see the Bungle Bungles full stop.
