Geike Gorge
A setting for a scary movie. More rocks.
Sorry.
But they really are fascinating in the flesh.
This time it’s at Geike Gorge, where we thought it would be much the same as what we’d seen before, but it blew us away. Instead of the by now ho hum, red, honeycomb and black incredible marvels, we suddenly came across these black, eerie monstrosities that could give you nightmares. They reminded me of the Adam’s Family in daylight but would be a horror movie at night.
This link is compliments of our loving daughter, who gives us so much comfort when we are so far away from home and all on our own. Please copy and paste it into the Google address bar and you'll feel as uplifted as we did when we received it. Thank you Catherine.
As an aside, the boys in the band “To the Hilt” are on a roll. They play at one of the clubs on the northside on Wednesday night for State of Origin and then on Friday 6th June at Rosie’s in The Valley. For the uninitiated like me, Rosie’s is one of THE places in Brisbane to play. They record their CD in
Geike Gorge
I'd really like that little rock that's sticking out right up there as a souvenir. the middle of June. It’s all happening!. Thanks for supporting them and making my dream of being a groupie mum come true.

Ahhhh...
We're sitting here on Dad's computer wishing we were there. Things are really busy at the moment and we just can't wait to get to Darwin and relax a bit!
