It's Memorial Day, May 25th and in addition to remembering those who served our country, particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us, I'm preparing for my trip to Alaska. I'll be making the trip in my trusty 2002 Suburban, which has 119,000 miles on it and has served me well towing my snowmobile trailer on many trips. I'll be leaving Friday. My first destination is Jackson, Wyoming. From there, I'll head through Teton National Park, up through the Rockies to Glacier National Park in Montana. After entering Canada, I'm going to Banff National Park in British Columbia. Then on to the Alaska Highway to Alaska. I'm planning to mix in some camping along with motel stops. (I know,----Bob Camping!?!) I plan to make entries to this blog as I go along. I'll notify you when I've made a new entry.
