Finally the emails ran out. None. I did get a call from a woman in Wollongong who wanted bulk stickers.
The day began with no plan except a vague idea that it would be fun to see some boats and consider the boating option. I took the train and bus to Spit bridge and walked around the yachts. It also was a chance to see the part of Sydney between North Sydney and Manly. This includes Mosman. Very nice. Spruiked Manly and took ferry back to Circular Quay. Was chased from there by guard who said it was illegal to WALK there with the flag. I asked if I could walk there with the current flag and he said only on Australia Day!!! Free country?
I walked to the Republic Bar and spruiked surprisingly well. Went to my watering hole in Station Square and had a Beck's. Well, two and a half.
I'll take this opportunity to comment on the backpackers where I'm staying. I was paying $55 when I arrived but that was unsustainable. Shifted to a two bed dorm. But they never put anybody in the other bed so I'm on $30 a night in central Sydney.
The free food shelf is so well stocked I can't eat fast enough. I've got pasta sauce, pizza, milk, cheese, cereal, jam, rice, juice, fruit, bread, etc. I'm starting to throw food out!
I love these long summer days. Light til 7:30.
Yesterday forgot to mention Dee Why. One of those zany names that conjure exotic places. It was one of the reasons to go along the north coast. I also went through Curl Curl. Who comes up with this stuff?

Its a good thing you are doing alot of walking around with all that food and ale you are consuming.

Went back and read your story. At Lara's- she had back surgery. You've been tilting with alot of windmills. Wish I had walked across the Bay Bridge. Go Steelers!!!!
