police UTE - they don't call pick up trucks here trucks - if you say truck you mean like an 18 wheeler! A truck here is a Ute or Yute? And I thought that this copper's yute was so hick I just had to put it up! Hello! Well we had a fun and busy week after our camping trip! Last Wednesday we went to Sentry Hill for the wine festival/concert and saw Op Shop, Anika Moa and Dave Dobbyn (who I think is kind of like David Wilcox back home - everyone knows his music etc and he performs locally but has some cd's out internationally etc). We met up with Greg and Jess and also some of Mark's other friends were there but due to seating (they were completely sold out for the concert!!!) we couldn't all sit together. We had a great time, drank some fruity wine and listend to some great music, even got up and danced at the end! It was so much fun! The tickets were a gift from Mom and Dad to Mark for his bday! Thanks!!!! Then on the Thursday night some of the young girls from the cafe wanted to go out and take little Catherine out because she is leaving for Uni. So I had Sinead and Catherine to my place and we made gourmet pizza's and drinks and got all dolled up! Cathering is only 17 though and didn't have a fake ID so no surprise that

the cop ute! Haha and I love the colours - I always think the cars are taxis! she didn't get into any of the bars haha but that was ok with me! I don't need to go out on a Thursday night! I was home in bed by 12:30 am and had to work the next day! I just had fun getting all dolled up!
Then this weekend we went to Auckland. I had bought Mark tickets to see the crusty Demons - a motobike show where they do all kinds of crazy tricks! I didn't have time to upload video's today and am taking the lap top into the shop this afternoon to get the web cam looked at, so I will post video's later on this week! You should see some of the tricks they do! ONe guy did a double backflip on the bike! I was loving it! After the show we took a ferry to Waihiki Island and stayed at the cottage. We had left Kobi with our housemate, Laurelle - she knows him and he just loves her and that way he could stay here and sleep in his own bed! She said he was a good boy!!!! I just wanted to take him - oh we went to a free concert

sentry Hill vineyard! in the park in Auckland before the Crusty Demons and it was heaps of fun too! We saw three of the 4 bands play and they were all very good except I wasn't a fan of hte last one - Pluto? They had too many swear words and songs about inappropriate things and there were lots of children at the concert so I just thought they shouldn't have sung some of their songs! It was a beautiful day though! And then we drove around Auckland and around the University - where Krith went!!!! I got to also see Mt. Eden which is a big crater up on a hill with a great view of the city! We didn't get home til Sunday at 7:30 pm and just unpacked and had a glass of red wine and watched I am Legend (woooo with Will Smith!!!) I have another two days off so I have just been catching up on some house cleaning and tending to my garden - which is doing real well - we have BEANS growing!!! The pumpkins are out of control and the zucchini is doing well too - the lettuce is slowly coming along and so are

Later on today Kobi has a vet appointment so we are off to get him his 3rd set of vax!!!! Other than that, things are still great, and ladies at work I wanted to give a special Hello to!!!! I was chatting with Mel today and miss you all so much! And let Marg know that things are going real well and still looks like I'll be here for the year!!!! 😊
Well enjoy the pics for now and I will post some video's later in the week!
