I woke up early today because my girlfriend Bianca wanted to go shopping on the last day of sales. In Rome, there are only sales twice a year for a few weeks, and we arrived in Rome in time for the last of the sales. We walked around Via del Corso and ended up shopping for over five hours. And at the end of the five hours, I only got one scarf and books for my class, so I wasn’t very successful. Today was Valentine’s Day, so Al and I spent the second half of the day together. I got some pretty Italian flowers. There is a Kebab place right off of the street from our apartment that we tried out. It even looked like they had some falafel dishes and cous cous. The kebab was yummy but very spicy! Then we watched a movie, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which was so nice to do since I miss TV from home. Although I feel like I wouldn’t have enough time to watch TV here like I do at home, which is a good thing.

Happy Valentine's Day
I know you like sometimes to watch a movie, even if you nap during it , I'm guessing they have zero english movies on TV. How about subtitles? Is someone taping Alfred's favorite series? I can't imagine you shopping five hours, lol, maybe by the end of this trip you will need extra luggage and a Podiatrist.
