My internet is working miraculously and I wanted to get some pictures up. I've finally caught up on some sleep, and went shopping. It's beautiful here and almost entirely spanish. Talking to people has been difficult. Argentine TV-because I'm sure you are all wondering- is a lot of american television. The Simpsons are hugely popular and on in spanish pretty often. There's a lot of american movies either dubbed or subtitled. It's also not censored, which was a little weird to get used to.
Yesterday most of the stores were closed; I live in largerly a shopping district, but today much more was open. I went to the supermarket called disco and got some food. Besides that there are a lot of shops, sidewalks that aren't level, tons of taxis and beautiful churches which I plan on taking pictures of. Tomorrow should be for exploring, and I'm sure to have more interesting pictures and stories, but I hope this lasts for now.
