So, I just said goodbye to Tamara's family since they're going to bed now and I won't be seeing them in the morning...it was a lot harder than I expected! Staying with her family has been a really nice way for me to be eased into Spanish culture before being thrown out into a new school with complete strangers. I'm going to miss having familiar faces around even if those people might live thousands of miles away from home! However, I do feel extremely fortunate to have friends here in this country that I know care about my well being and would do anything to accomodate me if they had to 😊 Tamara's family is calling me when I get to the hotel tomorrow to make sure things are going smoothly for me, and a few other families here mentioned that they would be calling me every now and then to see how things are going. So I guess its kind of like I've got a few second families over here that I know can help me out when I need it...they might live a few hours away from my university but it sure beats being a whole ocean away. I really hope Malaga goes as smoothly as Madrid did for me.

I just realized I have taken 14 pictures, and I have been here for over a week. FAIL.

I hope things are going great over in the US!!
Love,
Erica

hey
14 Pictures! I took more than that last night at Lakeshore Idol with your Aunt Sharon and Jody. And I didn't even know the people! Remember, just put your finger on the little button and click, you can always delete!! You don't have to develope 300 at a time like I do.
