I am quite amused by the fact that with every house I've visited, all kitchen walls are covered with household items that are all in the form of a cupboard...by this, I mean to say that if you want to find the refrigerator or dishwasher, you'll have to go through every cupboard door until you find it. There's even a microwave cupboard, and some houses have an oven cupboard built into their wall as well....its very tricky...haha

Things are going really smoothly so far! I went to school again with Tamara, and ended up hanging out with Ruben's mom for quite some time since she works there. It actually turned out to be a pretty fun day with her, and I found her to be extremely entertaining. She kept asking me random strange questions about life in the U.S. and then asked me a bunch of times to go to the club with her because she wanted to see an American dance.

After school, Alberto met up with me and took me to Madrid. It turns out he has a bunch of friends that live there, so he pretty much knew the city by the back of his hand. We only had a few hours to spend there, but we went past some pretty cool places, like La Plaza Mayor, el Palacio Real, and El Museo del Prado. It reminded me a lot of London, except the building architecture was a lot more unique and there was a lot more crazy driving going on!

I ate another unidentifiable food for dinner again last night....haha
Something with chicken, maybe?? It tasted okay though!
At least this time I wasn't surprised by finding out I had just eaten lamb after looking up some terms on freetranslation.com

AND....another thing I learned:
De puta madre ≠ tu puta madre
**VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Edit from today:
So, I was planning on going to school with Tamara when I got there at 1, and then found a group of teachers and students that were going out to eat...it was the strangest thing I've ever seen, students and teachers cutting class TOGETHER. HAHA

We went to some random pub in the mall that served really good tapas and stayed there until a little after 3:00...apparently school is somewhat optional on Fridays or something....

I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

um so if you go to the club to show them how Americans dance, please do not show them your shimmy. ;) also, did you go in the Prada? I actually really liked that museum when I was there! there's a ton of famous paintings there. you need someone to explain to you the pictures or it will probably be boring.
