Thank you SO much guys!!!
Lin Jin aka Alex aka Josh's friend aka totally kickass Taiwanese guy took me out Friday night to the night markets in Taipei. His girlfriend and sister came along as well. So not only did they take me to the night market but they bought me almost every type of traditional Taiwanese food. And the list is as follows: squid broth, rice, pork chop, lo mein, some sort of flat fried pastry thing, chinese omelette, a peach toast concontion, sticky tofu, duck blood, taiwanese fried chicken, candy covered strawberries, candy covered tomatoes, indian milk tea, bubble tea aka frog eggs, sugar cane juice, ginger tea, peanut covered pork blood, and a coca cola. Yes, I seriously at least tried all of the above. I wasnt told that the duck blood and pork blood was BLOOD until after I had a bite. It was in the jelly/pudding type form. How it got into said form I do not want to know.

The night market in itself was an adventure. Taiwan is on a 4 day holiday for the New Year and it was absolutely packed. Im talking traffic jams of the people walking down the long rows of shops. The food

Signs, good smells, and people everywhere
market part is filled with little tables with small metal stools around it. Signs everywhere, people standing and yelling for you to come to their food area. Well, I'm assuming that is what they were saying it was Chinese so they could have been yelling anything really. Frying food, good smells, octopus legs floating, plates being hurriedly rushed around, people eating with their chopsticks (me with my fork) After the sit down part of our night. We got in line for the fried chicken place. The line literally went on for a few hundred feet. We eventually decided to go to another chicken place after walking around for a bit so as not to stand for 2 hours waiting for chicken. When I finally got some after waiting in a 15 minute line later that night though I understood the desire to stand in line for even 3 hours long. It was so freaking ridiculously fantasticly delicious.

Im so grateful to Lin Chin, sister and girlfriend for showing me such a great night in Taiwan. Made me want to go back and eat some more chicken next time Im on this side of the world. All of it was

Not so mmm mm good
mmm mmm good. Well except for the blood part.

Now Im in Kuala Lumpur airport in Malaysia waiting to leave for Thailand. I cant wait to be in 85 degree weather again. The idea of a rushed crowded Bangkok doesnt sound exactly appealing at the moment but its just my gateway to islands surrounded by blue sea. As soon as I get to Koh Phangan (<--cant remember how to spell that but anyway) in a few days I am going to go running out to the water and dive in.

Goodbye country number 18 here I come country number 19. :-)

You rock my face off!
I'm loving every entry more! I can barely say the word "blood" aloud, let alone fathom eating it...you're such a rockstar for doing what you're doing. Love you!!!!
