After arriving late the night before we slept in and then had pizza for breakfast/lunch. Yum!!
We spent the day walking around the narrow streets and getting lost and then found again and enjoying views from the city walls across the surrounding countryside. We went into an awesome cathedral with crazy black and white checked marble on the walls and floors. We also climbed the bell tower in the main piazza and got an amazing view! Cause our hostel had no kitchen we had to eat out..what a shame! For lunch we went to a cheap little local restaurant and Alice had home made spaghetti with mushrooms and Alex had pasta with chilli and tomato and sausage!Yum! and we also had a quarter litre of wine! I love having wine at lunch! Makes me feel like I'm on holiday...oh wait..I am on holiday! a really really long one! hahahahahaha! For dinner we spent a while walking around trying to find a cheap un-touristy restaurant but to no avail.. We ended up in a very touristy place but the food was good and not to expensive..pity the waiter was a complete knob! Obviously he was a failed comedian..and I really mean that when I say failed.

So after a few more slices of pizza and some yummy gelato it was fair well Siena and we got on the train for Rome..
