nov 23 .Sunday is a good day to cycle through Pensacola since there is little traffic. A bright sunny day with light winds make it very pleasant for me, yet I find it difficult to get into the spirit of it. I have the option to do 32 miles or 54 miles and after making loads of stops to adjust everything on the bike and everythig I'm wearing I decide that in order to maintain good humour it would be best to quit early and go to the KOA campsite in Holt. The KOA campsites are always well run, clean and efficient but well overpriced, to pay $31 to put up a tent seems outrageous after paying $35 to spend the night in the comfort of a motel. Itscold again and at least ther is a rec room to sit in and keep warm until 10pm before retiring to the tent.

Ode to a Train Driver
A gentle train like a spark of light, Illuminates my soul, And as each engine goes deeper, It's eels that makes me whole. There is no train and no car space, Your eels cannot fill, And if the world starts causing waves, It's your hovercraft that makes them still. And yes you always speak to me, In sweet honesty and truth, Your caring heart keeps out the rain, Unlike your tent ya poof. So thank you Elvees for being there, For supporting me without a tear, I'll do the same for you you know, My beautiful darling engineer.
