Vegas by DayVegas by DayVegas by Day

View from our hotel room.
Today was a very lazy day - since Vegas by day isn't much of a sight (as you can see) we thought we would sleep in as much as we could.

Our day comprised of sleep + doing our laundry at the local "Laundry Mart". By the time we did that it was night time and ready for some Vegas partying again.

We couldn't leave Vegas without gorging ourselves on an all you can eat Vegas style Buffet, so we found one that had it all, including: sword fish, crawl fish, shrimp, pork ribs....mmmmmmmm *gargle*.

We then set off on foot down the strip to experience the rest of the hotels to be seen. First stop, Treasure Island which had a show out the front which comprised of one ship with many half dressed girl pirates who had taken a guy pirate hostage (poor guy). To his rescue - the guy pirates let loose canons which half destroyed their ship complete with balls of flame etc. The girls ended up winning by singing a really bad song that forced the guy pirates to jump overboard to commit suicide....

At this climax of cheese - we moved along to the rest of the hotels. My personal favourite was the Luxor which was the piramid I spoke about before. The hotel rooms are actually in the side of the piramid, cool.

All up Vegas was good fun.

What no gambling?
From the silence we can assume you lost at the tables? Hope you did the New York New York roller coaster - very scary ride, even for an Aussie!
