Hi all,

Well yes I know I have been really, really slack and really I have no excuse for it at all. Since my last entries I have returned to work which has been an interesting challenge for me. Made new friends and caught up with some old ones. Most of the things I have been doing have become a bit of a blurr, and no it isn't related to my alcohol intake, well maybe just a little.

I was lucky enough to see a bit of live AFL football in London. Fremantle v West Coast. It was a delightful outcome with West Coast losing. I almost felt like I was at home with only hearing Australian accents around me. Even Princess Sparkle had fun but did have a bit of a run in with the law.

I successfully completed the Run London 10km run and it only took me 66mins which is good for me and I'm proud of myself. P.S didn't participate in this event as she hadn't trained for it and I think it would of been a struggle for her seeing she has no legs. I didn't point this out to her because I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

One weekend I took a short trip to Leicester to hang with a friend. Checked out England's biggest food market. It was really good finding good fresh fruit and vege seeing you don't really get it in London. My friend was a bit concerned that I was excited about this. But don't worry I did go out and enjoy some of Leicester's fine night life.

Recently I took a weekend trip to Amsterdam for my friends birthday. It snowed when we arrived. We were very excited. But it is a lovely city. only had a short amount of time so crammed in the usual tourist places including Anne Frank's house, the Van Gough museum & of course the red light district. Went Ice skating in the centre of town and had a couple of nice meals. Now my friends have now decided that I'm not necessarily the best person to pick accommodation as I managed to book us into a Christian hostel, with curfews and a zero tolerance for alcohol let alone the other recreational substances you find in Amsterdam. Very interesting, I felt like a naughty kid going back there after a couple of drinks. I was waiting to be asked to leave. But we can laugh about it now.

I had a lovely Christmas at my friend Naomi's house with a few friends. Roast dinner, bottle of wine & good company, what more do you need. And no it didn't snow that came 2 days later.

New years was a bit of a debacle but fun. After a lovely dinner on Brick Lane we decided to head to the London Eye to check out the fire works along with about half a million others. We managed to get a great position behind a lovely looking grey building. magnificant. Oh well luckly I'd had a couple. We then went to a house party which ended up being full of really young people who were really into sci-fi. and I know what half of you are saying 'but Sarah you love sci-fi and all that nerdy crap' but really discussions about Star Trek and the like are not for new years. Also one of the people who lived there kicked us out at 3.30. dull human being I think. But all in all it was fun.

This last month has been really busy. I've become a regular at Borough market which has the best chocolate brownies I have ever and I mean ever had. Actually I only go there for them. A couple of my friends have started girls only poker nights. It has been interesting. We all kinda know the rules but they do seem to flex with each hand. It keeps you on your toes.

Anyway I'm home in 3 weeks so I will see you all then.
take care all.
love Sarah & Princess Sparkle.

One more thing. I'm a bit concerned that a few of you don't know who Princess Sparkle is yet & she is really hurt. Just check out the photos.
