I would like to thank everyone who made this week a little bit easier for me. =) I really appreciate all the prayers and uplifting messages.

School is starting to get a lot better for me because the teachers are starting to understand that i'm here for the Language and the Culture not just for grades. The student's could not be nicer many people ask me to have lunch with them everyday and I feel like I always have a friendly face to look to if i'm feeling extreemly lost during the lesson. Students here really try to help me out and that makes the whole school experiance 10 times better for me. We had school pictures today but they are not the same as taking school pictures in Montrose haha the whole class got just one picture but we got to goof off and so lots of the boys wore wigs and we made funny faces and that's our school pictures. haha i'm super excited to see how the picture turned out. Well today i'm getting to see Cindy after school and of course I can't wait to see her! Tonight should be a lot of fun and Sat. I have only 2 hours of classes I think and after I get to go swimming with the host mom and host brother. Oh, by the way i'm starting swimming lessons! It's really fun because I have been a swimmer my whole life at the lake and now I still get to swim and all year round at a pool with really nice people. Sunday i'm going to an amusemant park with the host sister, her boyfriend, and the host brother. I'm really happy to be going to an amusement park! Well I hope to get pictures up soon I still have not shown everyone the pictures of when I got off the plane and just a bunch of pictures from a while ago! I know eveyone is excited to see more pictures but you will all just have to wait a little longer ! =)

OH! If anyone is wondering about sending me letters please feel free to do so and e-mail me if you don't have the address. Also I would love mixed cd's and penutbutter! hahah.

Miss you all, Lots of love,
Katlynn.

Greetings from Laurel Lake
Hi Kaitlynn, I've been enjoying your blog. It sounds as though you are settling in pretty well. I'm sure it's hard with the language barrier but also nice that the kids are so friendly and helpful. Your grandmother's funeral was special and I understand they are sending a tape of it to you. We can't wish her back as she suffered a lot in these last months and we knew she couldn't get better. I'm sure she's enjoying heaven right now and we know that we will see her again one day. Your grandpa put her Bible in the casket and her hand was resting on it. I thought that was so special. I had never seen that done before. Make the most of your time in France and enjoy the experience.
