We said a sad goodbye to our London apartment. Before we said a proper goodbye, we went to the Princess Diana Memorial Playground. You are only allowed in if you have a child with you. It was really good. It had a pirate ship and a maze. They even had Indian Tee-pees. It was wonderful. We went back to our apartment and got our suitcases. We left and got on the trains.
Our new Motor Home is a bit bigger than the last, but it is missing a couple of things that the last one had. Such as:
.No ladders, it’s tricky getting on the bunk beds.
.No awning, no shelter from the rain when your outside.
.Not a good outside table.
But then again, it does have some things that the other one didn’t have. Such as:
.More head room on the bunk beds.
.An oven! Yay!
.Comfier Back Seats, Man we needed those.
.Better plates for travelling. You don’t need to stack them in a special way.
.A TV! Awesome!
.Better beds.
.Better outside chairs.
Ok, I think this one is a bit better than the last one. We travelled to Bekesbourne near Canterbury
and spent the night there.
The next day we went and explored. We went to a huge church. It was beautiful. It had so many beautiful sculptures of different people. We lit a candle. We exited the church and explored some more. It was all so beautiful. I bought an English teddy to finish off the day.
The day after we travelled to Oxford. The new campsite was mini compared to our last one. Well, at least it has a playground. That was the day that the Olympic games started. We managed to watch a bit of it on our TV but the reception wasn’t the best.
The next day we had a look around Oxford. It was pouring with rain. We went to a net café. We took a look at the University. It was really big. I saw a maze. It was really easy to do. I raced Albert to the middle of the maze. It was fun. We got back to the bus. It was a very wet day.
We travelled to Cornwall the day after. It was a long car travel, but we got there in the end. It was raining and

different from the other one. really cold. We went to The Eden Project the next day. It was raining! That’s where they grow heaps of plants to stop them from extinction. I saw so many lovely flowers. They had a room where you could make little huts. Ours wasn’t the best. We went into the rainforest greenhouse. It was boiling hot. I saw all the rainforest plants. It had a waterfall. They were growing bananas there. It was interesting to see. The next greenhouse was a lot cooler. We saw heaps of different plants. We even have some at home! We had lunch at the restaurant. It was really yummy. It was a very interesting day.
We had a half travel half explore day next. We went into Redruth. We saw a Cornish Pasty shop. We bought 5 small ones there. They were still pretty big. They were fairly salty. Dad had made them before. It was similar. We finished off the pasty and had a look around. We saw fake dogs made out of old Gumboots. We saw some more things, than went back to our motor home. We drove to a graveyard. We were looking for some ancestors of dad. After heaps
and heaps of searching, we found one Luke grave. We travelled on to Longrock. It is right next to a beach. Me personally, I think Australian beaches are better.
We travelled the next day, and went sight seeing. First stop, Porthcurno. We tried to look at an out door stage, but we couldn’t until 4:45 because they were doing performances. We walked down to a lovely beach. It was very windy, but warm. We drove on for a bit and stopped at Lands End. We looked at a viewing point. It was beautiful. The rain bucketed down on us, so we got some shelter. When it died down, we walked along a pathway to get to another viewing point. I went inside an old boat. It was very interesting to look at. We travelled to Bude and stayed the night. Some nice people told us that when we get to a certain part of Wales, we have to try the ice-cream called Cadwaladers. It sounds nice.
We travelled yet again the next day. But this time we weren’t travelling from Cornwall to more Cornwall. We travelled to Wales. Mum had some ancestors there. When we got to our

So many flowers. destination, I was amazed. We were camping on a farm! It had so many beautiful animals. They have reindeers. They are beautiful! It was a nice day.
The next day, we had a huge look around Cardiff. We took a bus to the centre, than walked. Our first stop was Cardiff Castle. We had a huge look on the outside. It had old cannons that no longer work. We went inside the castle itself. It was really impressive. It had a children’s playroom. On the walls, it had pictures of fairy tale characters. The artist had a good sense of humour, because in the corner of the room, it had a painting. A tree was shaped as a person. It was labelled “The Invisible Prince.” I wonder if it’s really a fairy tale. It was really impressive inside the castle. The outside was really great to. There was a building were the prisoners were kept. It had heaps and heaps of stairs. The view from the top was amazing. You could see everything. We left the castle and walked on. We passed an ice-cream store. It said “Cadwaladers.” We bought 5. It was lovely. The best ice-cream ever. It

It isn't too comfy. was a fantastic day.
We travelled to Porthmadog the next day. Mum’s Grandfather and great Grandparents lived there. The day after we arrived we had a look around. We drove to Borth-Y-Guest and looked in my great grandfathers old street. We found the street, but not the house. Although, we might have seen it, but it has been modified. We went for a huge walk. It was really interesting to see where my great grandfather lived. We went to a cemetery. We didn’t find his grave. We had lunch at a nice restaurant. It was delicious! After our look around, we travelled to a new campsite.
That’s it for now. We have travelled to Scotland. It will be wonderful.
From Maddy.
