Big smiles at Sydney airport
- home once more and it's a bit chilly!!We've been back home for a few days and already it's beginning to feel as though we've never been away, which means we'll have to start planning another little adventure!! Travel is definately addictive as anyone who has ventured out of their front door knows. For the time being though we're more than happy to enjoy some re-connection time with our precious family and friends! And we have lots of plans, formulated while we were away, which we have to start working on.
Having been in the northern hemisphere in the summer months its a bit of a shock to be back in cooler climes - but at least we're heading towards Spring next month!
What have been the main lessons we've learnt from trapsing around the globe? Corny as it may sound - that there's no place like home & family and friends are precious!! On that note I'd like to think that we'll all make the effort to get together more often. We're now hanging out for visits from Karen, Bill, Stuart, Charlotte, John, Nicholas, Metta, Emily, Jason, Ann, Chris, Sally, Rachel, James, Jake, Helena, Sam, Becky, Karen, Jacqui, Wendy, Bill, Joy, Moses, Maria, Lars, Patrick, Jeanett

- reunited with the grandchildren! & Amie. Please not all at once though!!! Also Martha, Phil & Lucien I hope its not too long before you're back on these shores once more. Forgive me if I've accidentally missed you - you're still welcome!! And for any other new-found friends we've met along the way, please do keep in touch & why not pay us a visit - we'd love the opportunity to get together again.

I enjoyed your blogs. I was searching for Alaska blogs--a friend and I are going there soon--and found yours. I got involved in your trip and read more than Alaska. You're right, travel is addictive. Guess that's why it's called the travel bug. Thanks for sharing all your good photos and comments.
