My Best Friend, Evie Dear Evie’s grandmother, Michelle.
I am so happy to be in one of the pictures :-)
I’m go in Evie’s class. My name is Lily Tinka. If you don’t trust me, you can ask Evie. Evie is my best friend, and I’m so happy to have Evie in my life! She’s my best friend. I can trust her, and play with her. She is there always for me. I’m writing this message together with Evie, right now. Or I mean she is lying with Aussie right now, just next to me.
If you look on the fifteenth picture, I am the girl in the white dress, on the side :)
Have a great day!
Lily Tinka ?
Best friends G'day Lily, Lovely to hear from you and I'm so pleased that you're Evie's best friend. I hope that you both enjoy helping each other with your school work and playing together in the holidays. I would love to meet you when we next visit Evie and her family in Copenhagen. Sending lots of love. xx
HBD! Glad you had a nice time. No comment on Trump. We all long for the day when it is safe to travel. You might be right about the difficulty of getting back into your own country.
Birthday celebrations Good to hear from you Becky. Regardless of Trump's opinion (which I wouldn't put any trust in anyway!) I think it will some time before international travel returns for us here. Qantas, I believe, isn't re-starting international travel till at least July 2021. And while other airlines are still flying, the main problem as I see it is getting back into your own country. Anyway, we'll see. I do hope you're safe and well where you are and all your family and friends are well too. Lots of love. xx
Happy anniversary! Looks like a beautiful and peaceful part of Australia. Hope you had a great time. Val and myself are coming to Australia in March/April so hope to see you both xx
Happy Anniversary! Great to hear that you're both coming here in March/April. We'd love you to come and stay with us during your stay. Let's work on it!! xx
The Peninsula It certainly is a lovely part of the world. We'd been to Victor Harbour before but hadn't really explored the Fleurieu Peninsula. I definitely want to go back.
Old friends. P Another lovely trip to Japan. My youngest son and his wife leave tomorrow morning for Tokyo for a couple of weeks. It’s such an amazing lace. I’ve not enjoyed good health lately. I spent 3 months in hospital at Katoomba all sorts of health problems. I w as discharged and then went back to hospital after 3/4 weeks. This time. It was Concord for 7 weeks then back to Katoomba for 3 more weeks. This time I’ve been much stronger but still I have. To b very careful. You both keep up your travels and enjoy everything. I do love traveling so much but it’s out of the question now. Would love to see you. Why don’t you come u soon. ?
Cheers. Xxxxxx
Visiting Katoomba Lovely to hear from you Margaret. Sorry to hear you've been so sick and apologies that I haven't visited you in a long time. Kev and I are in the Fleurieu Peninsula in SA at the moment celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary but we'll be home on Thursday. I'll make myself a note to contact you when I get back to arrange a meeting. Take care. Sending lots of love. M xx
Sheriff Hutton C of E Junior school. The school in the photograph is the Junior school (I attended during the 1960s). The infant school was the old Methodist school. Mrs Taylor was the head of the junior school and Mrs Warley was the other teacher.
Enjoy your visit Good to see you both travelling again! Hope you are going to see some of the World Cup rugby union in Japan!! Lots of people attending this from all over the world . Best wishes from Valerie and Keith xx
Visiting Japan Great to hear from you and trust all's well in your beautiful area of North Yorkshire! We were back home before the Rugby started; albeit a couple of days late due to cancelled flights because of the typhoon. Do let us know when you're coming back to Brisbane and we'll organise to fly there to meet you. Love to you both, xx
We started travelblogging in 2008 when, with the parenting responsibilities of six children long-gone, we (Michelle & Kevin) left home for a three months adventure during which time we spent some of the kids inheritance! Having always loved traveling, prior to our three months away six weeks has been the longest period we've been overseas and that was mostly with kids in tow. Now officially retired (well sort of) I think we'll be taking up this traveling lark with a vengeance! ... full info
