Leaving Mendoza today after a week here. Great city. Quite sleepy, but very relaxing and much better weather than the cold and wet of Bariloche. This is wine producing region of Argentina so you can probably imagine that red wine consumption has been pretty grand! We did a wine tour on bikes which was great fun even if slightly dangerous after a fair amount of red wine. It was one of my best days so far. Great fun and the wine was out of this world. I reckon I´m a bit of a connessour now(I know that´s probably not how you spell it!). The city itself is very relaxing. Lots of plazas to chill out in which we have done a fair bit of. We went to a tango night too which was absolutely brilliant. After a nice meal and great show we had to all sing karaoke in Spanish in front of a 100% Argentian crowd! They loved us. There were 6 of us Brits and 2 Americans. We were truly awful, but we had so much fun. Definately didn´t try tango though. I reckon I should learn though. It´s a pretty sexy dance! Went horseriding yesterday in the black mountains which are the foothills of the Andes and you could see the massive snow covered peaks behind. It really was amazing. My horse wasn´t very kind considering I have never ridden before and I have a slight fear of horses. He did nothing that I said and I think he had a little too much testosterone pumping round his body! Anyway was a great day. Had a couple of BBQs and eaten some great steak! Off to Cordoba today. Only 10 hour trip, which trust me, round here that is a short trip. Take care. WILL DEFINATELY UPLOAD PHOTOS IN CORDOBA! XXX

Put some music in your food!
Hello! Wine tour sounds brilliant and the kareoke too. Not quite the same but Anthony and I are thinking about going pony trekking when we go to the lakes for our anniversary, that's as near as we will get to your horse riding in the Black Mountains. Main reason for writing this is the exciting news that you probably won't know about. Subway now do a Chicken Reagge Reagge Sub! Yes, with the proper Levi Roots sauce and everything! I haven't tried one yet but will let you know what it's like. See, you don't have to go abroad to try something new!!! Bet you can't wait to get back now. Take Care xx

the pleasures of the grape
hi dave, a person who considers themselves to know something of the value of the grape, is called a wino. sometimes a pedaling wino. all in all you seem to having a great time, maybe you'll sing your way around the world. regards roger
