ALLOOOOOOOO!!!! jesus, been a while huh? ive been workin like a slave, gettin shit done in the restaurant. its been great but i dont think im gonna continue much longer. in theory tomorrow is my last day of work, but im gonna stay on until saturday or sunday to do a tasting for the owner with the new dishes ive come up with. then starting monday its the guelaguetza, oaxaca's annual festival that lasts 2 weeks, and i wanna enjoy it. especially since i still havent seen ANYTHING here. add to that the fact that a week from tday im turning 28!!!!! and i definitely dont wanna be slaving in a kitchen on my bday.
the problem with the restaurant is that ive been telling myself i'll leave when thigns are in a good working state, but at this rate i'll have to live here for at least 6 months more to accomplish everything, and honestly that's not what i came for. also, i basically dont go out any more and im constantly stressed about work. so screw that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I met some cool ass chilangos (people from DF) that invited me back there for a week or so starting the 1st of aug (one of them's a dj nand he'll be spinning at a huge party appernetly and he told me i can crash at his place). im gonna go bc i didnt really get to see the place when i was there for 3 days. plus itll give me the chance to travel over to guadalajara to see my cousins.

Hey Nes, Sounds like fun! I'll try and call before your b.day!!!! DF..cool....it seems to be very interesting with a fabulous Antropological Museum (just so you know...in case). It would be great if you say Martine and Co. in Guadalajara Plz, don't forget to find a nice hotel for us in Oaxaca....we may be 9 with even Dominique coming from NY.. Can you imagine!!
