All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go

Just to let you all know that I have safely arrived in Nairobi. The tour will start in little more than an hour so I am using the time to have my first learning experience: using an internet cafe - well, actually the hotel's business centre. The hardest part is to get used to a completely different notebook 'interface' (???) - what I mean is 'Tastatur'. I can't find a lot of signs and remember Norbert telling me that he had trouble finding '@', which got me completely lost as well. And the letter 'y' is in a completely different place, so watch out for typing errors.
However, I did want to experience new things, so I am not complaining.
This is, of course, not what I had in mind when I thought of writing all these scintillating little blog gems but it's probably what will happen a lot - or not, if one thinks of 10-hour long truck journeys (which will happen occasionally as we have been told in our pre-departure meeting yesterday). Those should give me time to prepare an entry a bit better.

Hallo Gila, ich schreib' aber nicht auf englisch! Schön dass Du gut angekommen bist - vielleicht hat sich deine Aufregung jetzt gelegt? Dabei hast du am Mittwoch bei Kathrin noch so cool gewirkt!
