That was the type of view we had on the drive... isn't it amazing?
As hard as it was to leave the beautiful Forillon National Park, we packed our things and left for Gaspésie National Park. We drove along the coast and mountains of the Gaspé Peninsula. That was an incredible drive. There was alot of super high hlls, clffs with water falls coming out of them and the gorgeous St-Laurence beside us all the time.

Once we got into the park, we tried to find the place where we were suppose to pay for the camping and the entrance fee, but there was no one there. We had to take a 7 km dirt road, which you think it would be quick, but it was super steep the whole way. It drove us to about 600 meters high (thanx GPS lol). There was mountains all around us and we could also see some that still had snow on top of them. It was aweseme! 😊

When we got to the campground, which is located at Lac Cascapedia, we drove all around to get to the spot 39 (once again, our traveling guide) and we have no idea why they recomended that campsite lol. We never saw anyone to pay for the camping,

so we thought we'll check the next day. We were the only ones in this campground. It felt a little bit weird! ahahhahaha. We set up the tent and hopped on our bikes and drove to the lac Cascapedia. It was a beautiful and huge body of water that was nourished by snow from the mountains and from the rain. We really enjoy the view of this place.

While we were making our nice supper one the fire, which was chicken and roasted garlic (hmmmmmm), we saw a white truck driving around the campground. The vehicle stopped right in front of our spot and it turned out that it was the park warden who came and asked us if we had reserved for the night. We told him we didn't know we had to reserve and told them we'd be happy to pay for it, so he told us to pay it the next morning before leaving. When we got up, we ate, packed up our things and left. We never even saw anyone where we could go pay for the camping, so we ended up having a FREE night of camping! 😊

We really enjoyed our stay
