Back in LA again, left Sanfran last night got a mid night coach to bring us back nice and cheap. Were staying on Hollywood Blvd in a tiny hostel for the night. This place is a hot box thats for sure. Quiet the change from FREEZING Sanfran!
Had a good time in Sanfran though, we scored a ride up with one of the guys from Venice Beach we met in the Hostel, Chris. He was driving up around the same time we wanted to go so being the persuasive girls we are, we just invited ourselves along for the ride 😉 Whats a road trip with out some randoms coming with you. Didnt go too hard did the touristy things during the day like bike over the Golden Gate Bridge, see the nice town of Sausalito, had lunch, wandered round China Town in Sanfran which lead into Japan Town which lead into Little Italy... go figure? It a nice place, a little chilly, alot of fog, and a butt load of hills! Different is one way of explaining it, but in a good way. Have lots of old school buildings, bars and arty farty places to see. Lots of hippys, beatnicks
and homeless people which i guess adds to the character of the place? I took quiet a few shots there so as soon as i get to a decent computer i will upload some on here. So keep an eye out.
Today we hit Universal Studios again. For those that missed it last time we got there too late and then the day after part of the back area burnt down. So we missed out on going back... So anyway we went back today. My aim was to get on teh new Simpsons ride and get a photo with the Simpsons and Sponge Bob Square Pants. Mission accomplished! Couldnt wipe the smile from my face today, i was like a kid in a candy store! Got my photos which will be the coolest photos on here when i get them up! Then we went on all the rides Simpsons ride was awesome, its like a rollercoaster but a simulated one? Very hard to explain but it was well worth the 40 min wait! Then we went on the Jurasic Park ride which was more of a water ride, got completly drenched but was good cause LA is stinking hot at
the moment. Then went on the Mummy ride, again another rollercoaster all in all a kick ass day. Even bought myself a Sponge Bob Square Pants wrist sweat band! I can feel your jelousy from here ha ha! It's totally rockin though, You'll see!
Tonight we went and saw a movie in Manns Chinese Theater (for those that don't know thats the place where they hold all the movie previews in Hollywood) "What Happens in Vegas" which was quiet funny, which was good cause i didnt think i was going to like it. But it was quiet cool to see a movie with Vegas in and be able to point out all the spots and places we had been! Now were just going to chill out and have an early night cause we fly out for Vancouver pretty early tomorrow morning. Cant wait!
Just had an interesting conversation with a midget...sorry "little person" whos staying here also. His name is Chucky (I kid you not) have to say nothing surprises me in America anymore ha ha!
Anyhoo off to bed now, will get some photos up once we hit Canada.
