Sunshine on the Pacific

We are still on the island! Lovin' the "no mosquito" climate! We've had 3 amazing days of sunshine. Here are some photos! Today we launch from Salt Spring Island to Vancouver Island via Ferry. Great day to move on as the weather has turned cool and wet.

This bakery was on the Island Studio Tour! We walked in to lovely smells as the door was wide open to the outside (an odd thing to see when you are from NW Ontario where bugs are plentiful). We ended up buying one of everything, it seems. We had focaccia, cinnamon buns, fruit bread and french bread, then we went to the goat cheesery and bought basil goat cheese--incredible!
