My last day in New York. For a while at least.
I am supposed to be excited to be moving on to my next adventure, "Europe here I come", that kind of thing, but nope, I am sad to be leaving.
Leaving friends and family at home is hard, and I being away for the last couple of months has given me (and them!) some perspective on the meaningful. Leaving here is awful because I have friends here too, real friends who care about me, who I care about too. A lot.
Over the last few weeks I have had some adventures (who knew I could hula hoop?) and done so much walking, seen the sights and relaxed in this fast paced city. I've also learnt a hell of a lot about what I can do - I can trust, place myself in other people's hands and man, can I share! And I know some more about what I need to be happy in life; perhaps the epiphany just trickles in and one day you look around and just notice that you have some of the answers you were looking for.
Today it is raining in New York and while I won't be upset because the adventure is still only beginning, somewhere inside, I'm crying too. And I know that the memories of being here will make me smile long after I've gone.

you just made me cry, bitch ! The UN mightn't have wanted you, but we sure did... and yes.. you did all that.. walked...saw...visited..gave..shared... but above everything.. you were just you.. doing you things.. being the amazing, beautiful soul that you are. And I'm going to miss you. That much is true. If you don't come back.. I *will* come stalk you. I have powers.
