Rufous Our New Car
Oh no, everything is on the wrong side... Check out our new car! It is a 14-year-old Toyota Corolla and we've decided to name it 'Rufous', after the Rufous Hummingbird, since it is small, red, quick and will hopefully make similar incredible journeys (and no, not because of any kind of strange humming noise coming from the engine - not yet, anyway).
Have we gone crazy, you might ask? Perhaps. Trust us to buy our first car ever in a foreign country where they drive on the opposite side of the road and at a point when we are *meant* to be saving our ever-dwindling funds! It will make our travels here a lot easier, though - the Canadian long-distance public transport system leaves a lot to be desired and the cost of renting a car is outrageous (more than $80 a day when you add insurance!). So, hopefully, little Rufous will serve us well. Thus concludes a very stressful week of trawling the slimy empire of used car dealerships in Vancouver - an enterprise I would not recommend to anyone.

Arrrrr. Oh my God!
Nice car. Helpful comment: If you drive it round in reverse it will be a right hand drive.
