So i am not sure what I have already reported on, but not much has really happened since I last posted. The last few days kind of sucked cause of the rain across Italy. Last night was cool though, I met my travel buddy Victor at the train station around 5. We went on an adventure looking for his hotel which took about 2 hours. Then once he got settled we went searching for food. I think we were too hungry cause we stopped at the first place we saw and it ended up being pretty disappointing. Small portions, crappy service. Oh well. Then we just sort of walked around taking in all the wonderful canals of Venice. Today we went to San Marco Basillica and then fed some pigeons. Apparently it is the thing to do in San Marco square. We ended up running into one of his friends from Florence and headed off to lunch at this Taverna. We shared a couple pizzas and some wine. My debaukal of the day was trying to make it back in time to get my stuff from Victors room, (since I had to check out early this morning) and then get back to the station. Well getting anywhere fast in Venice is absolutely impossible because of the narrow little streets that twist and turn. I got totally turned around and lost and missed my train. Now I sit here writing to all of you waiting for the next 5 hours for the night train to Vienna. Oh well you live and you learn. No big deal. So thats about it. Venice is definately cool, but there isnt a whole lot of sightseeing, other than the many gondollas on the canal. Which I did not get to try because they want like 70 euro a ride. Bummer but what can you do. It is my last day in Italy. I feel as though I have been in this country for three weeks, of wait I pretty much have with the exception of Athens for 5 days. I have to say I have enjoyed Italy thouroughly and all it has to offer, but I am ready for a change in scenery. I will see you in Vienna, Austria. If I dont miss another train. Haha.
