Day 20 - March 19th, 2008

Hey - hey - it is almost ballgame day!
"Take me out to the ......." oh yeah, I will have to stay here in the room. Too bad, so sad, but it is too hot for my masters to leave me in the car! Lots of wind and almost reached 90F here today! My masters spent a good deal of time by the pool! They are really feeling sorry for the folks back home and the continued winter they are having - and add to that the blackouts around Kitchener. You have our sympathy, folks! Does that really sound like a sincere comment?
Around 11 AM, they went to Dunedin and picked up their tickets for the game tomorrow and then checked out the local Wal*Mart. Hey for all of you fellow employees of my master at Wal*Mart, they do not wear blue vests and smocks anymore down here. The employees are asked to wear navy blue tops and embordiered golf shirts with the Wal*Mart logo, are available for $3.00. They wear their name tags on their shirts. It looks great and everyone is "uniform" in their look - without the "blue" vests and smocks!
The folks ate lunch at TGI Fridays. It was very nice. My master has not eaten at one before except when he was in Moscow. A little different here than there - especially the language!
The folks walked about 1/2 mile for supper down to "Famous Dave's B-B-Q - where they "dig pig"! It was interesting and good food. They enjoyed B-B-Q'd chicken. Hmm, I think I heard them groaning on the walk back!
Then it was a relaxing evening and off to zzzzzz-land to be well rested for the game tomorrow.
Anyway, I bid you adieu until tomorrow!
BTW, the game tomorrow is on ESPN in case it makes it up there to Canada. My masters are sitting in the second tier behind first base at the end of the 3rd row. They will wave to you all - in case!

Hi! Just to let you know the Jays game was on TSN today and it'll be on Sportsnet tomorrow. Looking forward to watching at least some of it!!
