Kia Ora! As you might have guessed were in New Zealand!

Everyone has said that new Zealand is pretty and I wasn't really paying much attention but Oh MY GOSH it is the most beautiful place I have ever been to! Turquoise seas, rolling hills, bright green forests, blue skies with token puffs of cloud painted in for effect...just beautiful. The crazy thing is we have spent most of our time in Auckland city adn its STILL pretty!!! wow

Anyway, to fil you in on the last few days... after a month of being pretty smug that my stomach had been perfectly happy in Thailand, we got to Singapore and went for a delicious Indian meal with my cousin Billy.we went to this lovely buzzing place where you eat you meal off a banana leaf but something somewhere along the line set my tummy into overdrive. I was so unwell the whole time in singapore that all i really saw of the city was a tour of the toilets!! I tell you though, I'm so lucky to have had a tummy bug in SP where the toilets are a pleasure to use as opposed to Thailand where the concept of toilet paper just doesn't exist!!

After a pretty long flight where for the first time in my life I didn't eat EVERYTHING from my airplane meal (bar the napkin) I was horribly frustrated that we had to get off the plane in Brisbane only to go through customs then back onto the plane. We arrived in our hostel and found it quite strange to be sharing a room with strangers - we're used to it now. I don't think it was helped by rude girl in the corner!

Anyway, I'm waffling, the most exciting thing I've done is jump of Auckland Harbour Bridge!!! We took the FREE KIWI EXPERIENCE day tour of Auckland which included a bridge walk and when we got to the top they asked if anyone was going to Bungy, I suddenly decided on the spot that it would be a good idea! before I even knew what i was in for I had get strapped in and was falling 40m through the air!! I'm slightly worried at how easy i found it to throw myself off a bridge!!! haha It was completly amazing I loved it!!

Holly and I have booked ourselves
Before the JumpBefore the JumpBefore the Jump

about to jump off Harbour Bridge
onto the KIWI EXPERIENCE which is a bus and adventure company over here so basically someone is going to take us everywhere cool in NZ and organise everything for us. all we have to do it drink, jump off platforms and out of planes and eat. Sweet!! We started by going up north to Pahia in the Bay of Islands which was beautiful. Holly and I had an epic kayaking sesh today where we were miles and miles away from anything, quite a strange feeling but we feel cool with our big shoulder muscles and lifejacket tans! We decided to reward ourselves (for our intense 3 1/2hr kayak sesh) with a massive pizza followed by Ice cream! yum!!

Back in Auckland for the night and off to Mercury Bay tomorrow.

I love travelling!!!
xx
