Boy is my nose out of joint today!!!
My masters went to Edmonton and left me here with the folks! Now how do they expect me to give you a report on the day if I am not with them? So understand, that today's report is all hearsay!
They tell me they went to Tim's for breakfast then headed to Edmonton about 7:30 AM.
About an hour and a half down the road, there was a convoy. It was a wide-load convoy - and out here when they have a wide-load - they have a wide load!!! (see pics!) My masters tell me they had to get right off the road over on the shoulder, until this big rig passed! It had one truck in front and three pushing behind!! We are not sure what the load is and so cannot report that fact!
Then they tell me they ended up at the Rexall Centre where the Edmonton Oilers play hockey! They wanted to go in and take a picture of the ice surface, but they were told a circus was in town so there was no ice.
And have a look at that - another Wayne Gretzky drive - and
of course they were not in Brantford either!!
Then they were off to Olive Garden, where they met up with Cec and Betty. Betty taught with Pat up in Lively and so they were able to share many memories. It was also a time for Sharon, Betty and Cec to get acquainted. They spent two and a half hours “catching up”.
Then my masters went across the street to the West Edmonton Mall! Wow - were they impressed! The pictures tell the story! And besides all of what the pictures show, there really are stores in there too!!!
On the way back they saw several deer who had come out to dine before sunset.
Then they ate supper at Boston Pizza here in Wainwright, before coming home to me!!
But really - I can't complain! The folks here treated me really well, catering to my every need - and then some!! They are good folks!!
Anyway, we all lose an hours sleep tonight. This won't get published until Monday so hope you didn't forget.
Tomorrow the folks are off to church and then there is a pot-luck after church, so I guess it will be holding down the fort until
early afternoon.
Must close and get to bed - try and catch some extra zzzzz's tonight!

PS - just noticed that the date for the blogs have been the day after -so have made a course correction today. The date on today's blog is the date of the events. Sorry for any confusion! Blame it on my master!

Sure hope your Masters did not try the Bungee Jump :-) After all Eric is 60+ now......LOL
