Travelling up the coast

Been a while since my last entry, but haven't had access to internet since we left Brisbane on Monday.

We have been travelling up the coast now for a week, and it is going well, (well most of it). Started off in Noosa, which is a surf town, and they had their surf festival on while we were there. Tried to surf at a surf school, but fell off, and to cut a long story short, ended up in the local hospital on a spinal board, but all is well now, getting better, no major damage... just muscles and nerves...

We went to Rainbow Beach, which was disappointing as it rained all the time we were there! The beach wasn't that warm either.... LOL. Oh well...

We went to a place called Kroombit on Sunday, and that was really fun.... It is a cattle station and everyone had a go at riding the mechanical bull, we did clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and a goat rodeo, and some people learnt how to crack whips! It was really fun. We stayed with our Oz Experience (bus) group for the two days, and it was really nice, and we have made lots of new friends.... Our bus driver was crazy! His name is Forest, and when we got to Airlie Beach he took us to a laundrette, and got inside a tumble dryer and went for a spin (literally) it was hilarious!

Last night, we all (everyone from the bus) went out for dinner and drinks, and that was a lot of fun... Some people got a little bit drunk, but everyone was lovely.

Tomorrow we are going to the Whitsunday Islands on a sailing day trip, which should be fun.... I will try and blog again before I leave Airlie Beach, but for now.... G'Day.

G'day Girls. The first question is WHY?! why go for a spin in a tumble dryer? Glad your back is better and it sounds as though you are having great fun on the bus trip. Dad rang us and told us about ur injoury!! I hope you are ok now!!! It sounds like you are having so much funn wish i was there!! I thought i would tell you what i got in my AS results, well for general studies i got a E and for half my AS grade for english i got a D but was like 6 marks off a C so i can hopefully get that for my next exam!! College is cool!! still and work is still very stressful so u r not missin much gossip. Martain is still there and i think he is becoming our proper manager!
