I feel like I am in Disney World I feel like I am in Disney World I feel like I am in Disney World

You know with all the fake streets and buildings. It almost seems unreal
Hey kids. Wanted to update you in my progress. My last night in Barcelona I went out with two guys I met from Boston, incidentally I think they go to the same college that Kyle did (if you are reading this), Roger Williams I believe. I think that is right. Anyway I thought that was a crazy coincidence. So we met up with a freind of theirs Grayson, from canada, and went to one of the local backpacker pubs to watch the Barcelona and Celtic soccer/ football game. It was pretty fun being in the excitement. Beers were cheap too. I unfortunately had to call it an early night because I was going to be waking up at 6 am for my train to Nice. The train ride was beautiful. Along the coast of the Mediterranean, the water is so blue. The little towns that we passed were so quaint nestled in the hills along the coast. I wanted very much to get off the train and never return, but I didn't. I finally arrived in Nice last night around 8pm. My hostel is nice. I share a room with two German girls who are au pair's in Paris. Tonight we are going to a place where it is Ladies night and all you can drink wine for 3 euro. Today though I walked to the beach where I sat and watched the ebb of the ocean for a while. The beaches are cool because instead of sand the beach is covered in very smooth stones. I grabbed a couple but I didn't want to be weighed down the rest of my trip carrying around rocks. The city of Nice is very beautiful but very posh. I would call it France's version of Ft Lauderdale or Miami. It is after the all the warmest city in France. I love the smell of the sea salt air as I walk the rue's and look at the shops. My hostel is nestled in between Louie Vuitton and Emporio Armani. How badly does that suck. :o) After I am done here I will go grab some lunch at one of the hundreds of little cafe's for my favorite, crepe au jambon et fromage. I am only here one more night and then tomorrow I head to Florence. I wish I could stay longer but the Hostel was only available for two nights. So...I guess I will update again when I reach Florence. Talk to you all soon. Ciao!
