My first purchase here on the island! I have never seen this type before.
Afternoon All!

Had a great sleep, must be the salt air, (had nothing to do from all the travelling I am sure! Heehee) - both of us woke fresh and ready to go.
MrC caught up with his washing, while I cooked breakfast etc.

MrC came back from the washing room, saying he was enjoying talking to the people with us down in the units near there, he said Oh it was really nice to talk to them.. and I say…I told you so, and he says… don’t keep going on about it…I just laugh because I knew he would love it all. All it took was getting him here!

We had to turn up at 8.30 am this morning at Pinetop Tours, and off we went all around the island looking at the older settlement of Kingston and Emily Bay and the grave yard, as well as the plaque that was to the twins who were killed here. Then over to the convict prison and up to the highest peak, took some great pictures from up there for you all to enjoy, over to one of the larger plantations and had morning tea, yummy jam and cream

You can see how close the sea is to the cemtetery, here the mutiners of the Bounty are buried outside consecrated grounds, will be gooing back to take a picture of the hump they are buried under!
scones, with hot tea was lovely.

Of course all the way there is networking and meeting family going on in the back ground. Is really lovely to watch, just knowing that each member on this tour are family in some way, we have taken to “hello familying” folks as we walk past them in the street, (we all have badges).

We had some time to shop this afternoon, LOL and you guessed it I found this set of lovely mice in a jewellery/gift store. So yes they are coming home with me…LOL
I have added a picture of them for you all to see, you know I am going to find them if I look hard enough. And I haven’t looked in all the shops yet and have found mice in two or three shops, some were a little expensive so they are still there.

MrC brought himself a hat from here, and then wouldn’t buy his pins to go on it, so I bought him the first one. He has also found somewhere where he can finally get his “poppy shirt” printed, its going to be lovely we can pick it up tomorrow afternoon. I bought

The bigger island further out is Phillip Island and the smaller one closer in is Neapolin(?) Island they used to quarry it to build here.
a Tshirt from Norfolk Island, and both MrC and I bought a family reunion shirt as a memento.

Well enough for now, I will blogg later tonight after the “Welcome Dinner” Probably with more Pictures.. heehee

Need a little time to get ready and to get some postcards ready to send..
