Last Thursday I went to my first soccer game, which here they call "futbol." Soccer to Spain is like football to the U.S. It is the biggest sport here, and everyone is into it. The stadium is bigger than any stadium I have ever seen! It holds almost 100,000 people. The game we went to was against Villareal, I have no idea where that is, haha, but they are not even a big rival of Barcelona and the stadium was packed. We got tickets for 10 Euro, really cheap, so we were all the way up in the nose-bleed section, but it didnt matter, because you still feel the whole rush of the stadium up there. I hope to go to many more soccer games here. It is so fun to see how intense the Spaniards are about it...I love it!

Price of Tickets
Didac was saying that when Barcelona plays Madrid, it costs about 250 Euros to sit in a decent place. His mom's company paid for her to sit in the same box seat as the president of the team and the King of Spain...Sounds nice!
