A little info about trip plans:

I'm leaving February 8th and arriving in Scotland on February 9th. A little nervous about going, but so excited!

Here's the link to The University of Stirling where I'll be going to school University of Stirling

And, just in case you were wondering: 😊
The official animal of Scotland is the unicorn.
Scotland is about the size of South Carolina.
and the best time to visit is from March to May (weather wise)

So glad you have this opportunity
Rosanne I can not believe the time is here for you to leave. I was your age on my first adventure by myself and it will be one to remember forever. Enjoy this opportunity to explore and venture out but always be aware of your surroundings. Enjoy your time in Scotland and know that I will miss you a lot and our talks but will see you either in Texas or back at school. THe department will not be the same without you - take care and keep this updated so we can all follow your adventure with you. Will miss you, Love Sheila

Unicorn?!?
Gotta love a country with enough imagination to choose a unicorn over a horse. Travel safely ... and enjoy the trip ... overseas airlines have much better food/wine than the Houston-Boston shuttle.
