How to make a Delta Airlines salad.

Go to your local Chinatown and find the bin where the grocer has discarded the outer leaves from the heads of iceburg lettuce.

Choose one leaf.

Once home, wash the leaf carefully, but first, lay it in the driveway and drive the car back and forth over it a few times.

Shred leaf into bite-sized pieces. Shredded amount should only fill a tea-cup 1/3 full.

Place shreds in a tea-cup.

Using your powers for evil (or good, depending on your perspective) shrink two grape tomatoes down to the size of kidney beans. Add to lettuce.

Top with 3 heaping tablespoons of croutons.

Voila. Cuisine of the friendly skies.

So - did they charge you for it?- or were you on one of those rare flights where they're actually obligated to feed you? Sounds like the $5 West Jet bunwich would have been a better deal.

Lol. J's reading my computer screen at the same time. So funny. Thanks for that. We had a rough 24 hrs. of travel on a slow, full, bumpy bus yesterday or was that the day before, all to get to this over priced, family oriented, difficult to get to or get out of Island on the east coast.
