I am at the airport and about to head to New Zealand so just a quick ping.

I am still alive and well. My brother isn't doing quite so well though as he got hit by a drunk driver on my motorcycle yeasterday. I hear he broke his hand in 2 places but other wise I assume he is OK. Please pray for Peter's recovery.

I am glad to be able to see the places I have and will, but home is calling me too, especially with what just happened with my bro.

In Sydney I had a great place to stay thanks to a hook up from the wedding in Germany. It was a great home overlooking Bronte Beach in Sydney. I saw all the must sees there, which is about all I could do in the 2 days I had. Not near enough time! Still, today it is off to Christchurch, then Fiji.

Australia feels very much like the USA. Big streets, order, you can buy anything you want without trouble. I wish I had a chance to get out into the bush, but in any big city the world looks pretty much the same. I did enjoy the opera house and cruising the harbor. It is very nice, but maybe a little too easy to travel in. Australia is also the home of the backpack culture.
